MTX-75 question for turbo mod

Terry Haynes from HMS is the one whom I will send my MTX-75 and torsen LSD to install ...he recommends getting the tower keyed mode. Did someone already done it is it necessary? or torsen will be fine with turbo application and 300-350 hp
maybe it will make MTX-75 bulletproof?
don't know anything about this kind of mode
looking to hear all suggestions and critiques :D

I don't have the keyed tower on my car, but depending on the price if i had already sent him my trans, i would prob do it.

Save your money it isnt needed , you will find he tries to sell you a lot of not needed stuff , have him do the install of your diff and the trans will hold just fine

If anyone has broke one of these pins will you please post here , 100 octane fuel will give you peace of mine to , but ???????

I have been slamming the MTX as well as hundreds of my customers with boost and never even seen anyone with one of these broke

Bryan the yellow focus. (bwinkelsas) on here broke one. I bought a used tranny with one broken on it also. Never had it done to me tho

many of the cougar guys have broken the bolt in the shift tower. I believe they were less problematic in the focus because it used a different style of bolt. Some cougars had the newer style shift tower but I believe all foci had it. It wasn't known to be all that much stronger, but it prevented the bolt head from falling into the transmission and potentially being punched through the case.

I'm pretty sure you have a similar chance of breaking it at 100hp as you do at 300hp as it's only stressed during shifting.

(350k (km) on my car and it held up fine)

So what happens exactly when the pin breaks as far is shifting?
