Exhaust install questions
I'm thinking of installing a exhaust system and I was wondering if there are any guides as to how to make a dual exit exhaust?
Ive seen one Focus that had the dual exits and it looked rather well done, though I've got no problem with the two to one side of the FSWerks exhaust. --- I am here: Posted Via FF Mobilegy5r20

There's a couple people on here with a Borla split tip setup (~$700ish). There is also always the custom option. You might not get the mandrel bent larger sized diameter piping which yields the best performance gains but if the split tip is that important to you, a traverse mounted back muffler with custom styled tips can give you that look i guess.
Trust me, the FS Werks looks and sounds amazing if you want to keep it around $500 for a quality system.

Yea that's what I was thinking, the FSWerks does look nice though. Would you recommend the stealth?

dude, I'm rocking the race exhaust with a Steeda intake, and my car is loud. Depends on what you are looking for. I am young, single, and like loud obnoxious things (granted the car sounds really nice actually). I wouldn't do headers and a cat delete as that would be stupid loud, but if you don't mind some noise save $50 and go race exhasut.
So yeah, the stealth exhasut still sounds mean and I assume much quieter at cruising speeds than mine. For the price, you can't go wrong with either FS Werks system as it looks great, sounds great and gives you 2.5 inch piping, which other systems can not boast.

I wouldn't mind the noise at all, I love t when this gets going I can only imagine how good it sounds with the race exhaust.
I had this plan of not spending money on such unnessecary things. That plan didn't last long at all. I had a cat delete on my previous car, tooo damn loud would be putting it lightly. --- I am here: Posted Via FF Mobile2ecymq

You can check out my thread on the custom exhaust I did. While it's only single tip, it will give you an idea of what can be done. Adding a tip on the other side would have been fairly easy, but all you're doing is adding unnecessary weight. If you want just a dual tip on the same side, all you need to do is buy one and have it installed.
