PTS Remote start from OEM Fob

Well just wanted to let everyone know that I have installed a remote start in my Titanium with push to start that works off the factory key fob.

The installation does not require any additional keys or dealer scan tools. Although I do this for a living, I did install this (soldering all wires) in under 1 hour.

That looks pretty cool... you don't need some cheesy extra remote to use it.

nope, you can use the factory remote, just hold lock for 3 seconds and away it goes.

The best part is that the overall cost on a retail side is 100$ for the parts. The downside is that you do need their programmer to do the installation.

That is awesome!!! Looks like all the wiring is at/behind glove box? Did you just tap into the wires or actually cut and solder everything?

You don't have to cut anything, just strip the wire and solder. I try not to use taps on any wires just out of principle. Those things are terrible for intermittent problems.

And yes all the wiring is behind the glove box.

What kind of distance can you get? At work I'm about 500' from the car

just the distance from the oem fob, but you can order a range extender kit from them but it has its own fob and separate antenna.
