Views on "Stancing"

The more I see "stanced" Foci, the more I kinda like it.
Whats everyone else think?

Ill be as nice as I can: there's very few cars that can pull it off and the Focus isnt one of them. being low is one thing but stretch and poke is a hellagoofy trend

LOL, yeah I'm glad this was posted on FF and not FJ. It seems more of the stance guys live there. If this was on FJ this thread would have been locked already!

All joking aside, do what you want man, it's your ride. I would, however, consider the road conditions in your area and if you DD your car are you sure you want to be rolling like that everyday?

Like any show car, they look good in their own way - and it's obvious a lot of effort went into building them.

As a driving enthusiast, my personal preference is for 'functional" looks that match a particular driving environment - whether it be street, track, or trail!

A bit of "stretch" is nice for street & track, when functioning to stiffen up the handling response of tires a bit taller than the ones pictured. I'm sorry, but when they get THAT low they start to remind me more of the industrial tires on a fork lift. Solid rubber for the street, despite the lack of worry over punctures, was deemed too rough a ride long ago when Firestone's pneumatic tires swept the market....

There are two type of people..those that like the look and those that dont. most focus drivers fall into the later, just cause are cars arent well suited for it.

do what you like and you think will suit your needs. People arent always going to agree on what looks good or is safe/functional.
