CX Racing Turbo Kit

Hi i was wondering if anyone has any experiance with the Cx Racing Turbo kit for the 04-09 2.0? And would this work on a 06 2.3? From what i understand the 2.0 and the 2.3 are identical physically.

While I'm not too sure about that particular turbo kit, the engines are slightly different. You, ok need to make sure the turbo manifold is for the 2.3, as there are some slight differences in the head. The 2.3 has a slightly longer stroke, which is reflected in the head. Someone may want to double check that though.

There's no reason a it wont work on the 2.0 and 2.3 the headers FSWERKS turbo kit all are built off 2.3 and work on a 2.0

I dont knopw about the "kit" but Hotrod magazine has done budget builds with there turbos before. They can make good power. I just dont know how long they stay together? Not saying that in a bad way.

I am very curious to try this kit , BUT when I have emailed then and asked have they tried this on a Focus they say yes , do you have pictures they say yes and send me Mazda engine bay , I ask about tuning and they dont know

They had to of tried this on a Focus at some point for fitment , why dont they know more then they do

I know I'm bringing back an old thread but I just stumbled upon this kit and I think it's pretty interesting. Supply your own preferred turbo and you might have yourself a decent DIY turbo kit

ive had experience with their FMIC kits... they sucks, theyre cheap, customer service also sucks. They basically told another forum member they didnt car about a bad rep, because theyre making enough money already to sustain the business. (dont remember where the link to the email reply is) this was on gencoupe.com

Was looking for some info about this cxracing kit and search get me to this thread.
The manifold and downpipe looks acceptable but they don't sell it alone, you have to buy the kit. The turbo that comes with this kit is crap and I don't want it.
OBX has a manifold + downpipe kit for Mazda 3 but don't fit the Focus.
