clear cover for MFT screen protection?

My Droid has a clear, stick-on plastic cover that not only protects the screen from scratches, it also helps reduce those pesky, greasy finger prints. It does not appear to interfere with touch-screen sensitivity.

Has anyone seen a similar kind of cover for the MFT screen? Those greasy finger prints on my MFT display are disgusting. UGH.

Seems your only choice is the DayVue. When you click Help me Choose link below the "Choose Film" they show 2 options. Nu Shield AG Anti-glare and DayVue. What really sucks is it's the NuShield AG Antiglare is the one that hides fingerprints. The other one doesn't. I wonder why they won't let you choose the anti-glare one.

Had anyone taken a screen protector for an iPad and cut it to fit the MFT screen? I really like the way the screen protectors from Power Support work for the iPad and iPhone and would cut one down to size if the touch display will still work with them.

Huh. I haven't purchased one myself but I swear someone in another thread said they had a NuShield that was anti-glare on their MFT.

We usually do not recommend antiglare film for outdoor applications. You can see why here: http://www.nushield.com/film_comparison.php

Antiglare films can darken when it gets very bright, while DayVue will not do that.

I think our MFT display is already a bit antiglare. My issue is the finger prints.

I suggest using a soft cloth, similar to what you would clean eyeglasses with.

Problem is, those pesky fingerprints reappear every time one touches the screen...which is very difficult to avoid. It's fairly easy to avoid touching the lenses of my eyeglasses, but the MFT screen...not so much. On my next Ford, I'll just make sure to buy a model that does not have a touch screen.

I agree the MFT screen is terrible picking up fingerprints, but a $17 Nushield solved the problem and I still get to enjoy the touch screen interface... much more reasonable solution IMO than not having the tech option to begin with (as you state your plan is...)
