oklahoma tuning shop?

Anybody know a place in oklahoma to get aftermarket parts installed, exhaust, CAI, coilovers?

Most of your basic bolt-ons are fairly easy to install yourself. FF Has a great "how-to" section in the forums here. However if you would rather have a shop install it for you, you may just have to do your local research. Just about any place would install a CAI. Asfar as the exhaust- find a place that does exhaust.

I am just NE of you in Broken Arrow and I wish I knew a shop that specialized or dealt with a lot of Ford/Focus tuning/building in OK. I know I would be using them for sure. Which is why I am subscribing to this thread as well. I would like to see if somebody has any input on a local Foci shop. Good luck with the search though.

yeah, I can probably do a CAI and sway bar no problem, and i could probably do coilovers and just get it aligned locally, but it would be more difficult than if i went somewhere with a lift.
There probably is not a focus specialty shop, but even a place that does mustangs could do it.

True. I know Car FX here in Tulsa specializes in aftermarket performance installations of pretty much anything but they mostly specialize in Mustangs/Challengers/Camaros with an emphasis on Mustangs. They have ahd a couple of pretty sweet rides featured in some magazines. one was a tangerine colored twin-turbo convertible mustang with lambo doors- the full works. It was pretty sweet.

Don't go to Car FX. The owner there is an . I've had multiple run-ins with him and one of my friends had a really bad one as well:

I've done so many suspension swaps on Focuses that I can pretty much do them with my eyes closed. Plus I have done a ton of other work on my car. If you ever need help with something, I can help out. I live in Claremore and work in Broken Arrow.

well i will avoid them then, the funny thing is some of high end focuses on here are 400+ HP and probably could beat some mustangs

^^^^Good to know. You wouldn't happen to work at a westlake ace hardware would you? I seel a Blue ZX5 SVT there all the time when I am heading home from work.

$200 to install coilovers? Dude, drive up to the Tulsa area and I'll help you install them for FREE.

I can even help you set your alignment afterwards as well.

I too would love to find a tuner local, then i dont have to do it......granted need to buy program first.

Abel racing in midwest city said that they will do installs for a focus, they seem to have a good reputation for camaro tuning, and this is just a parts install.

They quoted me $200-$300 for coilovers
$60-$80 for exhaust
$40-60 for intake

I will probably get them to do it and then I will write a review of how the process went.
