New user from Mexico

Hello people, I just got a 2012 white SEL+ Focus (this is the top version we get down here).
I entered this forum to share experiences and be able to consult some of the knowledge you guys have here.
I entered the Texas forum since I live about 200 miles south (in Mexico).

In case there are events I might be able to attend.

I am interested in races or performance driving schools in case you know about one in or near Texas. (an instructor should work as well).

Welcome to the forum. MSR Track here in Houston Area of TX has an instructor course for Road Racing. If you want to go a bit cheaper and just learn how to drive. The SCCA Race committee has classes and you can also learn to play on the AutoX tracks or Road Rally Tracks.

the houston scca is having the autocross rookie school in September if you're interested, Im going to try and make it to that one, they don’t have any info on that yet but here is the link http://www.houscca.com/solo/index.php

I already sent an email to MSR Track sales since their options "full day driving instruction" and "competition driving school" were not fully defined on the web page.
I will also keep an eye on SCCA's web page waiting for the rookie school.
My vacation is the week of the 4th of July so if the rookie school is until September I will have to ask for a few days at work which can become an issue.
