Help! I attempted (and failed) to calibrate needles

In a stupid rushed decision of mine, I took the needles off the gauge cluster to sand the green off the back. I put them back on where they were when I was done..turned the car on and the needles went crazy. I also am trying to get my car into test mode which is not working either. Help! Thanks

Yes! Sort of. I finally got the car into Test mode but anytime I adjust the needles while I am driving they go crazy when I shut it off.

trick for RPM hold the gas till the car is at 3000 set the needle. Next for the speedo, take the bottom pin out and put the needle on below it at the 7 oclock angle then push the needle up and put the pin back in and drive the car you should be damn close if not keep repeating that process till your dead on.. Gas is easy fill her up and put her past the full line slightly. Next is the temp gauge let the car idle and then put the needle at the middle when its at running temp, your all set!

Thank you very much! I appreciate it. I think I got it to work. RPMs are still slightly off but oh well.

Don't push the needles on too hard. They get jerky. Just barely touch them on. I did this last night.
