Zetec Timing problem

Well basicall my car runs like crap, its slow it sputters on take off and almost stalls out and vibrates pretty bad at idle. I've replaed the coil which was bad and the timing belt and it improved slightly for about 20 miles then steadily went back to normal. It seems like timing may be the culprit so my question is what all sensors in this car control timing and which ones do you think are more likely?

Plugs are new, coil packs new, the wires have about 10k on them, timing belt is also new

Do you have or know of anyone that has a xcal flasher so you can get me a datalog ?

Did it ever run great, how long ago, did it drift into crapdom all of a sudden or gradually fade over time?

To be honest its always run a but rough but has gradually gotten worseand worse, I've only had it for 3 years and didn't start really trying to figure this out till recently.

There is a LOT of FF members in Va , go to the local forum here and see if some one local to you has a xcal where you can datalog and find out what the problem is vs throwing wrong parts at it

Ok I'm searching for that now but in the mean time what sensors adjust timing in this car other the crank shaft pos sensor, cam shaft pos sensor and the knock sensor, does the temp sensor or anything else. Also what sensors mess with the a/f ratio?

What exactly does the xcal read?
