I had my boosted ST tuned by Ray at McNews on 11/15/2010. I went up with a fellow member, PSUrivie and my girlfriends cousin.

Ray sent me a perfect base to drive my car up. No check engine lights and the car actually ran great; of course I kept my foot out of the accelerator. He later on told me that he keeps the base tunes safe by taking the A/F to 10 if someone goes WOT.

All the employees at McNews were cool. We talked with everyone, checked out the shop, the paint booth and the cars sitting outside.

I had complete confidence in Ray while he was tuning. He even takes the time to explain some of the changes that he was making to the tune. It only took him 3 hours and a few pulls on the dyno to get the tune where he wanted it. Then we took the car for a test drive and he watched things carefully. What was amazing to me is he knew exactly how I was driving the car (how much pedal I was giving it) based on the A/F ratio and boost. He even explained how the A/F was transferring through its algorithms while I was accelerating.

Overall am I very satisfied with McNews. I will be returning next year with a upgraded clutch to put some more boost into the 2.3 and see what we can do.

you said man!!! If you need dyno time this is the place to do it. Ray was VERY helpful and he has a great bunch of guys working for him.

McNews is AWESOME! And Ray, Bobby, and Team are awesome! Tuned my '07 near perfectly, will be getting a good bit of work and tuning done by them come spring, I cannot wait!

Ray and team have always taken time to explain everything and really are genuine and honest, I wouldn't take any of my 3 Foci anywhere else and that means something as a number of you know how particular I am about all my Foci.
