Austin Track Day!!
Tom texted me this morning about setting up a track day soon. Originally we wanted to do it this weekend but apparently they are not open on Saturdays very often. We are thinking Saturday OCT. 23. Who can come?

Update. Tom wanted to go on Friday Oct. 22 because Saturday is set up for a big bracket race. Im waiting for a response from the owner if we would still be able to use the track on Saturday and not be in the bracket comp. So new question also would be is Friday going to work? Or if they let us run on Saturday would that be better for everyone? Im open for either one but the day would change what time i would make it out there due to my work schedule.

I would come out but have no interest in running. Friday I guess I could make it up there by 7:30-8 at the earliest. As far as I know I've got nothing to do on Saturday the 23rd.

If you guys want to do bracket racing we can go on Saturday. I just wasn't sure who wants to do that versus just go one or two times down the track.

the reason I dont suggest the bracket racing is.....
Saturday, October 23 - Two Day - Big Money Bracket Race - Double Tech Cards. Top ET Winner $3000, Runner Up - $1000, Semi - $400, 1/4's - $200, $100 for one tech card, $150 for two tech cards, $50 buy back. Mod Winner $1200, Runner Up - $400, Semi - $150, 1/4's - $75, $75 for one tech card, $100 for two tech cards, $40 buy back. Gates open at 2:00 pm, time trials begin at 3:00 pm.

Ssounds like Friday night is best so far. I might be able to work a half day Friday and hang out that afternoon before the track if anybody else is down. A nice convoy from North Austin up there would be sweet for Friday at the track
If people are are off Sat then Alex maybe we can do one of those long cruises around the lake and hill country you were talking about just some ideas... |
