2011 5.0 track time.

Another Update
12.5 @ 116 with a 2.1 60ft.

update
best to date is a 12.7 @ 113 with a horrible 2.1 60ft.

I went to the track the other day.
It was my first time ever launching a RWD car and it was way fun.

My best 1/4 was 13.0
my best trap speed was 111mph.

I have a completly bone stock 11' GT 5.0 with 3.31 gears 6sp manual.

losts of fun. Next time i am def. hitting 12s i have the trap speed for mid 12s but i need to work on my 60's.

Wow nice times, just goes to show that ford did it's home work when making the new stang's. Just think back when the fox came out and was able to hit 14's and 15's they said the boss was back. Now what would they say? lol

Belt driven turbo FTL, Whipple FTW. Look at that again, it's no bargain. By the time you've gotten a tune for high octane fuel, CAI, maybe EX, then go with this thing for a $550/hp increase? You get what you pay for when you get the FRPP Whipple: http://www.whipplesuperchargers.com/...sp?ProdID=1245

GT350 shown, but available for 5.o

Very nice! 111mph is 11's with traction and seat time.
I ran a 12.65 @ 106.59mph in my Mach 1 with a 1.74 60' on ET Streets.

111 mph is not going to get you anywhere close to hitting eleven second e.t's! you need closer to 117 mph traps for 11's..

stock 01 camaro ss i ran 12.8 at around 110 going through the traps..stock tires
