OK, this is not a very impressive video, it was cut short @ 6:30 after only about 4 laps.

I'm having a hard time learning this track, the car is performing well, I'm just struggling with some very challenging elements. Turn 3 is a killer, and the uphill blind approach to a downhill "mini corkscrew" is not for the feint of heart.

But I did eventually learn how to blast into turns 1 & 2 with no brakes only lifting slightly, then back to full throttle for the second half of this big sweeper, hitting about 95MPH mid corner @ 1.5G's lateral load. (as per the traqmate info)

I'll redo this video after I download the data and synchronize the video.

Its a bone stock D23 with F2 header and the FSWerks "steath" exhaust. But the "steath" resonator was replaced with a striaght pipe. The only thing left in the exhaust is the muffler just ahead of the rear subframe.

SCCA takes noise levels at NHMS, the limit there is 99db, I was hitting values between 94 & 97 db. I think the meter was on the infield side of the main straight so they get your engine at full throttle.

isn't that always the way it is? I think Spec Miata was invented in the DC region, it's real popular on the east coast.

When I get the video from day 2 out of the camera, I should have some better footage to post up here. I should have the entire race as it was still recording when I pulled in the garage.
