Tom, how much power will a cgi block paired with a billet crank hold?

i know the block will hold 700 plus hp easily. the crank can do the same or more. i believe more though. if u r not going to make that much........is it worth it?

I kept breaking the cranks at high 600 and low 700HP , With the CGI and billet crank an Est 1000+HP has been done on Sean Carlsons Drag Focus

I had heard that esslinger engineering, who apparently built those drag cars, did 850 at the crank on a stock block and crank on gasoline turning 8500rpm. When they did 1000+ on alcohol it was with a stock block but forged crank because they were turning 9500 on that motor and were having harmonics issues with the stock crank at those rpms. The reportedly never broke a crank but did have a problem spinning bearings, I guess because of the rpm. They only used a few CGI blocks because they were lighter but apparently did not need the extra "strength"

tom, what's the most streetable hp you can run through the getrag? lol, i know....at these numbers streetable kind of goes out the window

I and many have been doing in the 320-350 range , I would guess with a LSD installed , common scence used 500 can be done

Beyond that what would you recommend? Built atx? if I end up getting the cgi and crank (which I'm currently trying to work out a deal on) and wanted to shoot for 6-700 what would you recommend?
