rear seat removal and weight
so im debating on taking out my rear seats in my svt and also take out the spare tire and jack along with the sub and amp.
how much would all of that weigh? is it worth the trouble and time?

Well it generally takes a lot of weight removal to get better results on bot ratings. If I remember right, for every 100 lbs you remove from a car, you get .1 seconds better in the quarter mile. And as for fuel economy, for every 200 lbs removed, it yields about a 1.7 mpg increase. So if a small increase in both is worth it to you, then go for it! I dont see how it could hurt.

he want to go bahhh baahhhhhhh baaaahhhhhhhhh faster, lol. might as well pull everything out, cause the rear seat not going to take that much weight off to make a differance.

Why would you want to do this? When you get a flat tire and have no spare, make sure you bring along a pair of hiking boots. If you need to transport more than two people, I guess the third person would be out of luck.

its not worth it unless you are a full racer, i mean your car..
I removed my rear half interior ( seats, panels) because im attempting to fix my broken clips. Sincei dont have the clips yet im still running naked inside, i thought about even removing the spare aswell, not a "wow" improvement, but thats me.. my svt is a dd. Also, you will have a lot more of road noise, and if it rains, you will listen to all the little rocks that are under your car flying.. like some have said before.. the car feels like a can with an engine hehe

I jsut recently found that out the hard way. MY tire blew out on I-90 and I didnt have a spare or a jack.
found out my insurance...even tho i have full coverage...doesnt bring spares. all they will do is change your tire with YOUR spare. but yeah in summary....keep the damn spare tire and jack in ur car
