Question Couple quick questions.

Was killed by MINI 's last weekend on a drag strip with 180's course design. Rode with the G stock champ and I don't have anywhere near that acceleration! The launch bog doen't help either. Is pulling the TC fuse legal in stock and does it affect the anti-locks?

That is a good question but I do not think so. You might be able to put blown fuse in there and say you didnt know; at local and regional events until you are beating someone I doubt you will get protested over that. Rule of thumb with the rule book; if is doesn't say you can, you can't.

Either way you are running against the Mini Coopers, there is a reason why they have been the stock class winners for G and H stock since they came out.

Thanks for the input. If I can be sure the anti-locks will still operate it might be worth a try. It won't help much against the one I rode in , I usually do good against the other MINI's, but the course was to much straight away speed.

just decided to get unlazy and check the owners manual for the fuse block diagram. The how to archives for a TC switch states fuse #46 for the switch, this according to the fuse block is also for the ABS. This is this first car I've competed in with ABS and I like it!

I haven't autocrossed the SVTF yet but I always turn the TC off on my mutang when I run.

I turn it off but it isn't fully off until a certain speed. It still affects the launch.

I am almost positive someone trophy'd in one at the 2008 Nationals in H-Stock but I am not positive. They have been relegated up to D-Stock since now that the ITR's got bumped to B-Stock. It will be interesting to see what car wins D-Stock there are a lot of very competitive cars there with the BMW 1-series, the Cobalt SS and the Mazda Speed 3.

Regular 3's are in HS--and yes, they have trophied from 2006 on. The Speed3's are and have been DS cars...

I haven't seen any MS3's up here run, had a street touring MS6 awhile ago do pretty good though.
