SC vs. turbo in autoX
i hope to do some autoX-ing either this seson or start next... but i would like to have just a lil more "epmff" in my SVT nothing major for a drag strip but just a lil for shorter runs.. so would a JRSC be better or should i spend the money and get it turbo-ed..

soon to be turbo!

JRSC would be great for auto-x but you could go with a small turbo too, but im voting SC just because of the instance boost where a turbo would have to spoll up.

I wouldn't say that...if you put a big turbo on a small engine...it can have the best design, but you will definitelly feel some lag

I agree with Blackcatn2o, I think the spool time would suck for autox. I think it would be easier to get a feel for the track with the "always on" power.

Personally, I would buy hoosiers and light wheels, same cost, will make you faster.

Agreed, then tighten the nut behind the wheel. All the power in the world won't help if you do not know how to drive it. Anyone here that is saying put on a power adder I would assume has never auto-x'd. Especially since you have already stated you are just starting out with this.

some of us have power adders and suspensions. Besides the original question was which would you do a SC or a Turbo... not power adder or suspension.
