Shaved door handles?

Does anybody know what all is involved with shaved door handles? Also to uh open the doors, is it like some sort of "lambo" door kit, or automated door opener thingy? Basically how do you get the doors open?

your gunna door popper to open em up. meaning you will have to mount them in the inside of hte door; then u get a remote to open em with. and then when you shaved the door, you got a couple of chocies, you can either make a peice of material that goes over and you can bondo the crap out of it. or you can weld it shut then sand/grind it down.
my focus is for sale....

I personally have never liked shaved door handles because you get screwed if the battery happens to die. And we all know that the battery dies at the worst possible time lol It is all a personal preference thing though. Best way to do it is to cut a square where your door handles were then weld a piece in that spot and just grind it down and prep it for paint. I've seen the hidden buttons put under either wheel well that is closest to the door locking mechanism. But it is always wise to have it on back up battery power just in case your battery dies some where along the line. Just figured I would throw that in there. Good luck with what ever you decide to do

Like was said earlier, you open the doors with some poppers. My brother and I shaved the door handels on his truck. When we did it we knew that his truck went dead frequently. Top keep from being locked out of his truck, when we wired then poppers in we also ran a lead off of the posative battery terminal to the front wheel well. This way when the battery dies we can use a jumper box to get enough juice to it to open the doors.

^^^Great suggestion. The leads to the wheel well for a jump box saved my windows a few times.

He has the 5 door....if the battery goes dead you just use your key to open the hatch and in you go.
You see what you want to see and you hear what you want to hear.........

u take a razor and u shave them off. just kiddin. remove and fill the hole in and door poppers. might try going to a junk yard and cuting a peice out of another door to fill the whole so u have the right curve and body line.
