Focussport Lower Stress Bar may NOT be applicable for SVT

I don't know if any of you have read my post on the Suspension Thread regarding the FocusSport Lower Stress Bar. I had complications installing it and realized that it might not fit. Anyway, I just spoke to Vic at FocusSport, and he told me he tested this item on the Duratec and Zetec only. He never tested this on the SVT, so it looks like this item might NOT be applicable for the SVT models. I explained the problem, although he had already read my post on another forum, and he understood that the Cat may be inevitable to get around on. Let's hope they can make another bar for the SVT or find a way to make this bar work. Either way, he told me that I could return it or exchange it for another item. Just wanted to let all SVT owners know. Other than that, FocusSport remains being the #1 source for my car. Thanks.

hmmmmm thats funny....I posted a comment on this thread and now its gone....HMMMM....good luck with the install hope you get it up there....I think it was kind of a poor choice by Focus Sport not to try on the SVT and sale to SVT owners.

It's confirmed by Vik at FocusSport, that this bar will NOT fit the SVT. I guess I was the guinea pig for this experiment.

well i got the explanation of how that happened from randy directly...

its not their fault really. and they honored it by not charging people for it and giving them their money back.
