First race of my 2nd season is April 26. I was hopelessly addicted after my rookie season. Best of luck, don't sweat the times, have fun!

2 key notes. pupmp your tires up to around 40 psi. and adjsut up dor down fron there.

and second to third gear is where you'll spend msot of the time, so get used to high rpms, lol.

and yes i was also hooked after my first run. (i even went a bit nuts and slid the course a bit effing my times over but it was all good) and dont worry about upgrading tons of stuff. get really good handling the car first . then when you start over driving the car (going beyond the suspension linits, or limits of the tires) it's time to think about upgrades

where are you at that you get into third? around here it seems like once your in second theres no reason to shift out.

I used low tire pressure (30lbs) front and rear because the higher the pressure the more sliding I did (including a complete 180 with a stall). One piece of good advise though. If you can see the cone in the turn you are NOT close enough.

I am going to give you the same advice everyone gives but is absolutely true,

Meet people, asks tons of questions, learn as much from others as possible, and try to get someone to go with you on your course walk.

and most of all have fun... Oh yeah and slow is fast or I should say smooth is fast. So if you need slow down a bit.
