auto x tracks in il?

Hope this was the right place to post this. Are there any autocross tracks in IL? If so, where at? I am about an hour south of chicago.
Thanks for any info.

The closest autocross events to you are going to be run by Chicago SCCA out at Route 66 Raceway. Here's a link to their 2008 schedule...

And just to give you an idea of what expect, here are a couple of videos of runs at Route 66...

Actually there are also events in Rantoul which is only an hour south of you. The local scca sanction is ccscc

http://ccsportscarclub.org/

Check out Focus Nation too, we have g2g's every once in a while and our central IL contingent is growing rapidly matter fact theres a small g2g in Champaign on March 8th, we will be touring the backroads a bit.

Yeah its a good time, theres usually a guy with a porche 918 and another with an old-school Jag, all mixed in with a 500whp Evo and a 600whp Cobra. Theyre a pretty close-knit group and the events are always run smoothly and with a smile. Even my wagon never got a dirty look

How much do these events usually run$$$? Do you have to be a member of scca to run your car?
