brightest headlight bulb?

what is the brightest headlight bulb i can get to replace my stock bulbs?

I use SilverStar ST. They are pretty solid. You can't touch them with your bare fingers though, due to the oils on your hands.

if u do, just use achol wipes to clean em up and they will be okay, but u really want some bright lights, just spend 100 on plug n play hids, g bright!

point me in the direction of a good hid plug n play kit for $100 and i would be on it!! i have never seen any that cheap.

If you want the brightest bulb, you aren't going to get anything brighter or whiter than SilverStars. The one problem with them is that they don't last very long.

As far as the plug and play HID kit, unless you plan on putting them into a projector housing, you are not going to maximize your light output with a reflector housing (stock headlight). Not to mention you will get hot spots and beam scatter.

If you don't want to drop about $300-$500 and get HIDs installed correctly so you can get the most from them, pick yourself up a set of SilverStars.

I was averaging about 4 months of usage on a vehicle that always has the lights on and about 6 months just using them at night. Last time I bought some, SilverStars were going for $39.99 for a twin pack. So at $40 for a set, I decided to save up for a true HID setup.

they are one ebay, just type in hid and hte price range and it will pop up
