cant remeber for sure if they have them for the duratec, but i know the zetec there was a cheater harness you could get to put inline with the sensor so it doesnt throw a cel when the cat is gone. best option though would be to get a custom tune to eliminate the sensor and optimize everything for your setup.
Ripping the cat out. ^^^^^^^ The D-tech's use a mani/cat= hence you'd be replacing the mani/cat w/ a header then, why not add a tune to go w/ it & then have the rear o2 senser & egr turned off.
Have you tried a cheater? They make kits and I've seen a post on here of actually making your own for a couple bucks at RadioShack.
