To save some webspace, I'll just suggest you go back and re-read some of the comments about tires and suspension.
I couldn't agree with them more, especially in reference to an SCCA Solo2 AutoCross course.
Power is
far from being the #1 priority for going faster on those types of courses.
Driver improvement is probably the biggest aspect to work on.
Get yourself to one of the Evolution Driving Schools if you can find one that's close to your proximity.
The cost/benefit ratio far surpasses anything available out there that's "bolt on".
just ask WD40 , I've seen him run down some pretty fast cars on track! and he's mostly stock svtf

It does point one thing out that's extremely obvious if you've done this type of racing for a while.
Given the same base car...
A stock car (with good tires and tight suspension) with a good driver will almost always beat a modded car with a so-so driver.
