say, i really can't say there is much difference b/w putting a wire with spade connectors into the proper slots and modifying the relay. a glance at the manual shows fuse #44 (20amp) protecting the circuit.
there is nothing crazy about either method. it might take a certain amount of courage to mess with anything electrical the first time? or the first couple of times. i use a wire and spade connectors and find the most frequent worry with the car is potholes or similar with the "bendy" five-spoke wheels. i spent more time writing two postings to this board than on the mod ... and neither is my electrical harness melted nor my car in flames.
