after a little more than a year and 16000 miles, in my 04 focus zx3, my front brakes started squeeking, i took my car to the dealer and paid $350 to have them done . just yeasterday i had to replace my rear brakes, the service consultant at the dealership told me that the rear brakes were cracked due to heat. that cost me another $220. i've never had to replace brakes this soon in any of my other cars. has anyone else had this problem? am i gonna have to replace my brakes this often in the future?
