Tried that. Doesn't work on mine. Only makes it looser.
As soon as I rolled the car forward, the seatbelt would loosen right back up.
What I
was doing, that worked semi-effectively, (though not very safe),
is to buckle the belt, then while holding both lap and shoulder portions tight at the buckle,
un-buckle it, give it a full twist, and buckle it back up again.
If you hit something with the belt twisted like that though...ouch.
