It's higher, at least compared to the early Zetec/MTX-75 Foci. The SVT could really use a 7th gear if you ask me. But, even thought the RPMs buzz around 3100 at 70mph in 6th, there's just enough torque to not have to downshift to pass on interstate roads. You definitely need to downshift to pass at 55 mph though. Preferably to third.
OP, you'll just have to drive all kinds of Foci and see which you like best!
