Machine shop will probably get to my head tomorrow. Blessing and curse of using the place with a good reputation (City Motor Supply in Dallas). I'll have pictures of that when it gets done, I plan on stuffing this thread with as much SVT head rebuilding pr0n as possible.
No reply from Gates link. Going to look for a phone number tomorrow. Hopefully I won't sound like a raging lunatic if I get a hold of someone.
Anyone have an opinion on installing an adjustable cam gear for the exhaust cam? I know dyno tuning would only give marginal results, but everything is apart right now and this motor might go FI in a year or two depending on life circumstances. Local hookup who got his SVT totaled has one sitting around, so it just makes me think.
Tomorrow is FRIDAY. I'll watch this a few times trying to motivate myself into a good attitude.
