Just an update to say, I checked the Haynes manual and you sir, are correct. Valve adjustments every 15,000 miles or 12 months. It hadn't occurred to me a car from the 80's would still need that kind of old-timey maintenance. Ha. It needs a hell of a lot more than that at the moment, though.
And the parts are rare. The interior panels are basically non-existent; I'm considering just leaving it a bare shell inside, since the whole car sat outside for so long the plastic is faded and extremely brittle. Scrubbing it with a brush to try to get the dirt off actually scrubbed the plastic off! At least with no interior I can sort of play it off as "because race car" I guess.
