Bigger ports mated to small stock cam and small displacement will only serve to produce a narrower powerband than stock. The few extra horsepower you gain on the top end will be offset by horsepower losses in the middle. Power near the bottom end of the power curve will be seriously reduced. The net result will be no additional usable power under the curve; that is, it's a big waste of time and money. The car will feel more peaky (and perhaps more impressive to some) due to narrower powerband, but it will not be faster. You will have to row the shifter more precisely just to stay in the powerband. Who in the heck wants that? Not me.
