Hi, im looking into buying a new focus, unfortunately, the one im interested in doesn't have remote locking.

Im quite good and repairing things and making things work so was wondering if it would be as simple as just going to a scrap yard, taking the key, locking barrels, ignition barrels and remote part of a car that's being scrapped, and then just fitting them into my new car. Or would the on board computer like not this?
