How do they straighten em'?
They mount the bent rim on a lathe and apply torch heat on the flat area. Then rotating the rim, they take a staionary roller and apply pressure on the insise section of the condition. rim. Gradual rotations and pressures bring the wheel back to original. The outfit that performs this task act like its secrete science but it's really a 20 min. job.
