For those that rolled fenders on a 5-door MK1
On the 3-doors, the rear panels are easy to roll. But on the 5-door, there isn't a lot to roll. I found on mine the inner wheel well splash guard was in between the rear fender lip. So when I went to roll, the lip wouldn't compress all that much.
Did you guys either cut or pulled the splash guard out and then rolled the fender?
