The dog should be fine, they only seem to care about dogs going on certain trails. I've brought mine there to the various pick nick areas and on the dog trails before. Coyote run is the name of the dog trail, takes you though some woods with a couple of hills and has a stream and then out to a large field that has a big Indian burial mound.
