I'm trying to figure out that process because my lower hose on my EGR is cracked and sucks air (kinda sounds like a turbo) so i planned on just taking off the EGR all together. My only issue is that i need to find a way to shut off the diagnostic check for the EGR to shut off the CEL so i can pass washington emissions. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
the vacuum line that comes from the firewall to the EGR Valve itself, u can move it to the square box, that has the 2 tubes that come off it onto the EGR Tube (runs from EGR Valve to Exhaust Manifold), just move vacuum line from EGR Valve to that sensor, to the test port, and it'll keep the Engine light from coming on.....
