It's a Zetec, so not an SPI, so no issues. If it's a manual, then it's the same transmission as the Focus uses. I've never owned one personally, but I don't think that those are bad cars. I don't know if it has the problems associated with early Focis or not- like the 2000 MY TPS and TB.
OH, that is a lot of miles for anything though.
