I think I was one of the first people to ask if it was possible to open up the headlight housing with a Heat Gun from Craigsfocus thread... and now I see that it's possible - although I can't say it's the best method I've seen so far, but this could definitely work if you're not overly concerned with aesthetics of the headlight housing...

Three methods have worked so far for three different individuals and everyone's been very satisfied with their results, so this tells me that one way or another, I gotta get some projectors in my housings!!

Technique 1 - Oven (melt and pull apart factory glue/sealer using flat head)
Technique 2 - Soldering Knife (cut through housing channel)
Technique 3 - Heat Gun (melt and pull apart factory glue/sealer using flat head)

I wonder if maybe you could combine Technique 1 and 2.... somehow, heat the headlights in the oven for a while... then use the soldering knife to slice through the sealant *not housing* and pry open with with a flat head screw driver... ;) mmmhhhh...
