Well. unless they slowed down the vette, it should be about 3.6 secs to 60 and 1/4 mile in mid 11's. Drag race these two cars and it will depend more on the drivers than anything else.
So for an additonal $40,000 you can have an AMG that is no faster in straight line, and slower in the corners.
The Corvette is a performance car super value. If you don't like it, that's cool, but bashing it's performance compared to a more expensive car that is slower is just stupid.
