Also if you do a lot of stop and go ... basically "Big City Driving", I would expect the MPGs would be much less than the EPA estimate.
I live in Champaign, IL (Home of the Univ of IL, but I'm not a student), and I get 28-30 "City" ... but on my 7-8 mile drive to work, I only go by 6 lights or so. I would assume your commute and general surroundings would mean a lot more stop and go.
