Power Steering hum in cold

I have noticed that the power steering pump has started humming in the morning when the car is first started and cold, however when the engine warms up the hum goes away.

Also, on the checkup sheet the dealership does every time you bring the car in, they marked the power steering as yellow. And yes I did check the level and it's 5/8 of the way up from the low mark.

Is it just cold right now as it's 18-25F in the morning when I start the car?

Bone stock 2006 Ford Focus with a 5 speed manual transmission and 2.0L engine.
