It would likely need to be closer to 55-60 mph avg to get 40.92 mpg out of a 5MT, but I'm not sure.
I know my old 5mt with similar gearing would do 45 mpg at 55, and 40 mpg at about 60 mph but it was also a lighter vehicle.
