After two months and 2,000 miles in my 2012 Focus SEL with the 6-speed auto (PowerShift model, EPA ratings are about 1mpg less than non PowerShift models) here's what I'm getting in my car.
From home to work (3 miles each way) with a lot of stop and go, 23-27mpg over a two period (one tank).
Driving around Augusta to kids sports games, shopping, doctor appointments 32-34mpg.
Driving to/from between Augusta and Atlanta doing the speed limit +/- 10mph (with traffic) 34mpg to ATL, 38 from ATL - average 36mpg.
Driving to/from between Augusta and Atlanta doing the speed limit +/- 4mph (pissing off traffic when I pass the slow lane folks) 36mpg to ATL, 38 from ATL - average 37mpg.
Driving around ATL highways and interstates, 45mph-70mph, always got 40mpg (with occassional red lights).
My tank fulls are averaging no 33-34mpg with mixed driving over a two week period. I reset the mileage counter frequently.
I hope that helps.
