Definitely have to worry about 15" ground clearance, my coils are 1 inch away from maxing out. Hard to fill the gap at same time have good enough ground clearance lol.
When I mounted the rims, I knew that I had to run stretched tires without serious work on fenders. I would say it is perfect stretch for the offset, otherwise I would have ran meaty low profile tires. There are no 175 or 185 with 40 or 45 profile.
Btw, I would like to know what roads around houston are really bad.
Generally speaking, once you get into Houston (basically anything inside 610), it would be easier to name the roads that aren't bad. Off the top of my head, I can't think of any. But I live up north in Spring and the majority of those roads are pretty decent.
