My car has just thrown the middle finger at me by shape of gear lever. I was downshifting (normally) to turn into my neighborhood. 3rd to 2nd, do it all the time. however when I did it a loud popping sound happened. I thought it was just my phone hitting the silver plastic but a couple of hours later I go back in the car and notice it won't center itself back in neutral. I've read on here that it was a spring issue, but everything seems to be in place. Kinda hoping someone could chime in. Everyone around here seems to own an auto focus (well except my ex
) so i can't really look at what's exactly wrong. The car gets into gear fine, it just won't center.
