If I was going to do anything bolton FI to a 12:1 compression engine it would be a supercharger.
I already have a heavily modded WRX and the power and the turbo spool is tonnes of fun. A factory turbo like on the ST is an ideal setup. But the ST is lower compression.
With a high compression engine a low pressure supercharger @ around 5psi is a much better idea. Also more consistent performance and tonnes less plumbing.
tuning is still required. tuning will always be required for any bolton forced induction. but dont let me defile your Cheerios, you go right on ahead and bolt a turbo right up. Take video. Post it on youtube. With 2million views you might be able to cover the cost of destroying you vehicle.
