I don't know what brand, but I talked to a guy older guy at a meet who had a similar gas cover. He said he had to remove the inter metal flange that surrounds the gas nozzle in order to get the bolts in. So after you open the cover the nozzle just stands alone with nothing around it after.

Yep! That's the one I am installing tomorrow. (From the way you described it)I know that I wont have the internal rubber boot or flange, but read my fuel door fiasco and you'll see why I just want one that lasts. Plus I like the looks, but I did post before that this type of fuel door is a love or hate thing lol
