Im using the OEM shift knob and I prefer the relative heft the kit provides. Lithium grease and loctite blue will be wanted too. A bunch of grease and a couple dabs of loctite. To the OP get the whole kit and you will wonder how you did without it. I love mine. Have a buddy to help and proper amounts of lighting and you will be set.
