ive been told that when your shoulders are back up against the seat your wrists should sit on top of the steering wheel. this will allow your arms and shoulder areas to be at rest and comfortably grabbing the wheel. ive come to grow out of the cool lean back phase to a track day position so i can take turns and be alert while controlling the wheel with two hands and rather then one. but if your back is really screwed up go get a massage to revive it a little and go from there with the new seat position you acquired.
